Nellis Air Force Base Veterans Day Air Show

We found a great way to spend Veterans Day- at the annual air show! Nathan and I had a great time watching the air show- and fortunately, we were prepared with our earplugs. There were some planes open to viewing so we were able to go into the cockpits and look up close at all the controls which Nathan loved! It was a cool and windy day so we were bundled up, but it didn't keep us from enjoying the event.

The Flower Park

We found a great new park to spend some time.... fully equipped with huge flowers and butterflies, tons of playground things and water fun! And notice the mountains in the background- absolutely gorgeous.
