Summer fun!

Nathan has been enjoying all that summer has to offer- including soccer! After wandering around the field aimlessly for the first 2 games, he finally caught on from the older kids and scored 2 goals in his game over the weekend. It did take awhile to get over the PINK shirt we were forced to deal with.... But, the weather has been beautiful and great for being outdoors in the summer sun.

Something special

We had a special event for our family at Eastertime this year- Matt was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church at St. Bernards. It was a long ceremony and Nathan just couldn't stay awake long enough but it was a very special evening.

Stella and Erik

For those who know of my Brazilian sister, Stella, she was here last week for a visit with her husband, Erik. It was his first trip to the US and was just dying to see snow.... well, to our misfortune, his wish was granted. He isn't allowed to come back! Anyway, it was a great visit with both of them and we are so glad to see her on an annual basis. Here are a few pics out at the Russells.

Easter time

Egg coloring for the Easter bunny, a phenomenal egg hunt (inside the house due to the weather) and the fabulous tulips that needed rescuing from the cold.
