Disneyland!

Nathan and Matt went on a nice vacation out west to visit family. Mom had to work and take care of Max while the boys were away. However, I think the guys had enough fun to last for awhile.......two days at Disney/fun parks, breakfast with the Disney characters, and catching up with family. But we were happy to see each other again when they returned.

Matt and Nathan went to California with Grandma and Grandpa Barendt, along with Uncle Mark and cousin Micayla. A day at Huntington Beach was enjoyed and they both came back a little bit more "bronzed". Run from those waves, Naterbug!

Fun things of summer.......

At the golf course to watch the fireworks with Grandma Russell, and then off to an Indianapolis Indians game to enjoy a great day and cheer on the team.

The childrens museum in Indy

After a dreaded morning of Nathan's kindergarden shots and mom's grueling PT exam, we headed to Indy for a little stress relief at the Childrens Museum. It was packed full of families and Nathan had plenty to enjoy. Here are a few things we did while there...

Getting into the Olympic spirit

We went to cheer on the Olympic hopefuls during the Olympic Diving Trials held in Indianapolis at the Natatorium. It was a great day and Nathan and Dad were able to see the place where Mom spent SO much of her time swimming. Go USA!!!!
